Company:
Our client, a Dubai based marine shipping company that offers services to the Oil & Gas industry, is looking to hire a COMMERCIAL/MARKETING MANAGER.
Function:
You will be responsible for expanding the company's activities in the Middle East, South-East Asia and West-Africa. You will report directly to the owner.
Main responsibilities:
- Market Research: Actively explore for prospective companies in the Oil and Gas industry, which offer good growth opportunities, with special focus on the West African market.
- Business Development: Contract / Tender participation with major oil companies. Negotiate commercial agreements and develop long term relationships.
- Relationship Marketing: To build and maintain strong networks
- Project Valuation & Analysis: Evaluate and analyze projects through Financial Modelling & Market Analysis, consider the strategic benefits and accordingly submit the recommendations
- Market Intelligence & MIS: To constantly monitor market trends and competitor activities and keep the team informed.
Developed and executed sales and marketing strategies that significantly increased visibility and generated sales.

Profile:
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in the West African market is MANDATORY
- Experience in negotiating marine contracts with major oil companies is MANDATORY

- Leadership skills with good team management
